PVC material is a popular choice for fencing. PVC fence requires little maintenance. It is durable and can last for many years. PVC fencing is available in a variety of styles and colors, with white being the most popular choice. Since fencing is outside contending with the wind, rain and other elements, the fence is bound to get dirty and dingy. Cleaning your white PVC fence can restore its prestige appearance.
No harsh chemicals are needed to remove the scuffing marks from the fencing and you don’t have to hire a cleaner.

The advantages of PVC fencing material include:

1.Made of durable PVC material with low maintenance cost.
2.White finishing adds elegance to your home.
3.Unlike wood fences, it does not require sanding or painting.
4. Easy and fast installation due to lightweight design.
5.Withstanding the impact of rain and moisture better than wood fences.
6.Easy to install for the do-it-yourself.
7.Good neighbor style fence panel looking the same on each side.

Preliminary Steps Before Installing Your Fence

Step 1
Discuss your plans with any neighbors whose property lies along your proposed fence line to make sure your fence will be on your property.
Step 2
Check for easements in your deed. An easement is a right-of-way granted to another property owner or utility company, which may limit the design and location of your fence.
Step 3
Confirm the location of underground utilities with local providers before you dig.
Step 4
Check local zoning laws, which may regulate the size and placement of your fence. If you live in an historic district or a subdivision, check with your neighborhood association before proceeding with your plans.
Step 5
Contact your local building inspector to obtain the information you need for the depth, diameter and shape of your footings. Some codes may require that the bottom of a footing be wider than the top.
Step 6
Apply for the proper building permit as directed by local code.

1. What is the main advantage of choosing PVC/Vinyl?
Vinyl/PVC not require any paints, stains, maintenance or replacement.
2. Does PVC/Vinyl fence become brittle in the winter?
As with most PVC products, vinyl will become less flexible in the colder weather. However, unless subjected to unusual impact, quality vinyl materials will not break or crack.
3. Will the PVC/Vinyl turn yellow?
As long as your fence is kept clean, with a periodic wash from a garden hose, it will not turn yellow.
4. What effects do PVC/Vinyl have on the environment?
PVC/Vinyl products are safe and non-toxic. They will not breakdown and release harmful chemicals into the ground and do not require toxic chemicals (stains, waterproofing, paint, paint thinner) for regular upkeep like treated lumber can. No trees are used in the manufacture of PVC/Vinyl.
Because of the exceptional long life of PVC/Vinyl, several times the amount of wood that is needed to manufacture the same fence in wood can be saved over the lifetime of the fence. If the vinyl ever needs to be taken down it can be recycled into other products, such as hoses and watering cans.
5. What are the choices of colour?
We offer all of our PVC/Vinyl products in a choice of White or Tan.
6. Are there no dark colours available?
Due to the amount of UV Stabilizer included within the PVC/Vinyl compound, and because the UV Stabilizers are white, dark colours are not available at this time.
7. Will a PVC/Vinyl fence move in the wind?
Yes. Outdoor PVC/Vinyl products are designed to have some “give” in them. The flexibility adds strength and keeps the fence from becoming brittle and breakable.
8. How do you clean the PVC/Vinyl?
As with all exterior products, our fence will become dirty when exposed to the elements. A mild detergent and water should be sufficient to keep your fence or deck rail looking new. For tough stains, Soft Scrub or baking soda works well. Simple Green and steel wool also works to clean stubborn stains.
